Who's your favorite Who?

Keith Moon might be a bit confused, but the Daleks know what I'm talking about. :-D

I imagine Dan and Schu will know what I'm getting at.

It helps if you like sci-fi, British humour, and have a decent understanding of history. ;)

Definitely Tom Baker, though John Pertwee is a close second...

William Hartnell, definitely William Hartnell. Being the first, he set the tone of what is to be expected. Besides, with a mug like that, me says they ged it right the first time!

Ok cool, I get it now.

I like Sci-fi, I got to watch a lot of Benny Hill, and Python, but, I never did watch Dr. Who.

Yeah Schu, we get Who over here, I have just never watched it.

I'm on a dr who board now. I have several favorites: Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee, Christopher Eccleston, and David Tennant. Dan's already watching the new series with new companion Martha Jones. Sounds like it'll be good.

Actually, Dan has never seen a Tom baker episode until he met me. He watched episodes with Sylvestor Mccoy and then the new series. I started him with Baker's famous Robots of Death. One of my very favorites.

I have been a Dr who fan since the 80's and like most, it started with Tom. Peter was ok but I hated Colin baker. He mainly insulted the companion and he didn't really stay long. He was booted out so that the people who owned the show could give it more pizazz. Sylvestor was ok. I'm happy the Daleks and Cybermen keep coming back. Ever since the new series came to be, I've shed many tears. Especially when David and Billie do the most heartbreaking goodbye.

A William Hartnell episode that made me cry at the end was his farewell to his grandaughter Susan. His speech was so sad and especially when he says Goodbye Susan. Goodbye my dear. When David Tennant cries for Rose at the end, I wept. Reminded me when I have to part company with Dan when our vacation times finish.

Well, he was my favorite doctor. But I enjoyed the very first episodes the best.

I watched some more of the 2006 season today. Holy shit. Tennant is actually replacing Baker as my favorite. Tres impossible!

"You know why I love you? You're so delightfully human. Your species has an insatiable and irrational sense of curiosity. Any sane creature would have turned around and gone home by now."

-----------------------

"Mademoiselle Poisson!"
*Reinette grabs her purse and runs out full-tilt without looking back*
"Poisson? Reinette Poisson? No...no, no, no, no, no way, Reinette Poisson! Later Madame Etoiles? Later still mistress of Louis XV, uncrowned Queen of France? Actress, artist, musician, dancer, courtesan? Fantastic gardener!"
*servant enters the room*
"Who ze hell are you?!"
"I'm the Doctor and I just snogged Madame Pompadour."

-----------------------

"I just saved the world. Not bad for a man in his jim-jams. How very Arthur Dent of me."

:-D
