I would be down with the Redskins making the big show and KC too.CygnusX1 wrote:I'm hangin' on with the REDSKINS making the dance.
KC
PIT
SEA
REDSKINS (Captain Kirk has broken at least 3 REDSKINS QB regular
season records and all were REDSKIN Super Bowl seasons)
(BTW, FedEx Field sold out in 13 minutes for this one)
side note.. speaking of the Redskins, My high school and my daughter's high school, We have been known as the Northside Redskins since 1927 , they voted to change our school mascot and beginning next year, we will be known as the Northside Legends.. bummed about that, lot of history and tradition behind that mascot.. Hope Dan Snyder does not cave and change Washington's mascot.
Happy 2015!
First of all - congratulations to Siggy for winning the pool in a runaway - I can't recall another time this has happened in the 7(?) years this pool has been run. Well done sir!!
I cannot thank Hairy for covering for me.
I apologize for my two absences - normally I see things through to the end however life threw a pair of curveballs at me. On October 8th I had what turned out to be a gall bladder attack requiring an ER visit. I had the gall bladder out in early November and spent the better part of two weeks in bed recovering.
On December 20th I received word that my mother had been hospitalized and I rushed to be with my father and sister. We received a diagnosis of mom's brain tumor on Christmas Eve day. We made the best of that day - spending part of it at the hospital and part of it doing our traditional dinner and gathering at my parent's house. We spent the day with her at the hospital on Christmas Day. (Don't knock Chinese for Christmas dinner - it's pretty good but I would suggest ordering before 4:30p to beat the crowd).
My mother has various health issues which make surgery impossible. We know that her time left here is limited and we will make the best of it. Could I ask that all of you keep her in your thoughts and prayers please? Thank you.

Thanks for the kudos, K. Sorry to hear about your mom and all the
health issues and the difficulties you and your family are dealing with now.
I wish I could say that I haven't been there, but I have - so you always
have a set of open eyes and ears here.
Stay tough and on course, Bro. My door's always open.
May God bless you and your family with strength and grace during this
trying time.

Don't start none...won't be none.
