Working my Friday night job - go out through the office into the bar, look at the TV for the score and it was 6-5 Yanks bottom of the second...

...and I made the exact comment you did about slow pitch softball

Nats are getting ready to bench Strasburg for the year (Doc's orders).
Hope he comes back stronger than ever next season.

Do you honestly think that if the Nats make the WS they are going to sit him?

I know what you're saying. The Nats benched Zimmerman after TJ
surgery and he came back strong - but the Nats weren't a
contender then.

I totally agree that they'd put Strasburg on the mound with a WS on the
line no matter what.

Went to a Nats game two years ago and saw Strasburg. Fun stuff. Been wearing my Walgreens hat all year, lol. Hope they go far and yeah, he'd pitch in the WS. What're they gonna say "we're not pitching him in this WS in case we make it to a future WS?" :?

It's called "The Curly W" - and we just clinched the NL East. 8)

Two more games to play for home field and we're muh-ney.
