Joey,

I have lost a few very close people in my life. I have not shared much, even with those I am close to. But I know your pain and sense of loss.

My prayers will be with your whole family these days.

God bless you.

Man, Siggs, I am SO sorry to hear this! I thank the Lord that she passed in a way that was without agony and with a loved one, but I feel so for those who are left behind. You and your family have my heartfelt prayers.

The strength I drew from to go through my mom's passing is the strength you have as well. You personally know the One from Whom I got my strength. Don't just take His hand as you walk this path - climb up in to His arms and let Him carry you.

I'm back. Thanks for the kind words everybody.

Mom's WV service was surreal. It felt like we were in a old black-and-white
movie. The weather was awful. It was snowing like crazy, so only a few
of us in the immediate family showed up.

We got her back to VA Friday and placed her in the crypt next to my sister.

I couldn't leave my dad until I knew he was okay. Things are slowly
getting back to normal.

I'm back to work and trying to get up to speed myself.

Thanks again.

Joey...............sorry bro. I know this feeling all too well also. I lost my dad 16 years ago, and every day since then mom has gone a little batshit crazy.

I know when mom goes I'm gonna lose it, that is all I can say about that.

Thanks you guys...

I'm fortunate to have friends here who have gone through the loss of a
parent and know what it's like - and folks here who haven't - but care
enough to say something comforting.

For that I am truly grateful.
