Working on only ONE new habit at a time. I get overzealous most New Years and it doesn't work so well.

I used to make a resolution, and it never worked out. I choose to make a fresh start for the new year.

No resolution here either. I tend to make the changes I need instantenously.

So it doesn't take you a month to create a new habit?

"Better grooming" was mine. Sigette and a couple of friends constantly
wished I would shave my "Grizzly Adams" beard, so off it went on NYE.

When asked at work why I shaved it off, I told them I was
"rotating my crops." :P

I miss my face fur. Dang it's c-c-cold.

It is 2012, and New Year's resolutions are presently in effect. Are your
resolutions more of the physical or financial variety? Are you preparing to
invest more time correcting your fat or your wallet? Resource for this
article: US consumers resolve to fix waistlines over wallets. Though It will come
as no surprise to the millions who have just embarked upon a dreary diet
plan that the most popular new year's resolution for everyone this year is
to lose weight. Sadly, we still find it almost impossible to stick to our
resolutions.

SPAM Casserole

1 can Spam
1 box of au gratin potatoes
Dash of garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano

Directions

1. Cube and fry Spam.
2. Prepare potatoes as directed on box.
3. Add Spam to potato mixture and bake according to package directions.

Ham can be used instead of Spam. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

While I really do need to lose weight, I don't make New Year's resolutions.
As soon as the motivation is sufficient, I'll get on it. Until then, well, the motivation isn't sufficient. ;)

Last year I did end up losing weight, although it wasn't a resolution. I did better at what I had resolved, at not taking on too many changes at once. This year I have no resolution, although I have goals I am working toward. I alwas have goals, though. As for finances, yep, I do want to improve my financial status, but that is one of the goals I have, not a resolution. As long as I continue with my plan, I should be in a much better place financially this time next year.

Very cool, considering all you have been through in the last few years.

I encourage all of us who choose NOT to participate in this so called recession . . . . let us all rise up financially because we are willing to work hard, and not be a part of the whiny 99%!!!
