well Ive just adopted 2 rats...they're about 3 month old and cute as shit
...so now I've adopted 2 cats..2 rats..but we did buy Hamish the guinnea pig

its so amazing...the cats dont bother about the rats at all...infact got good pics of gypsy (cat) and Hamish (guinnea pig) together

...and as soon as you turn your back...the cat has a rat tail hanging out of its mouth and acts like nothing happened...LOL

We've got a zoo here... 4 indoor cats (two are this past winter rescues
and are feral, but they're coming around to us)....
never a dull moment here!

Well, rats are generally bigger than mice, so that would be a challenge for
a cat.
I would think they would get along...up to a point.

they're still wee as they're still young...but so was Hamish when we first got him and the cats have always been cool

I just cant wait till they're settled then start teaching them tricks....want to do the cotton reel trick like out of the Green Mile

if I put my finger through the cage they love nibbling on my nail but Ive just broke a nail and they wont bite that finger...they are so cute
