I was worried about this as the first confirmed people in Scotland come from Polmont..about 3 miles from Grangemouth..Im not worried now as all the people they have come in direct contact with them have been tested and the tests came back negative...still worrying though as this weekend Falkirk has it's big open air festival 'Big in Falkirk'...it attracts 1000's of people and we go every year

I was thinking about not going but decided what the hell...the alcohol that I will be taking will pickle any virus :-D

Add at least one case in Washington, possibly 6 or more. School shut down in Seattle from a possible case, a pediatrician in Everett has it for sure.

As for me, I'm not going to worry, but will keep up my standard hand washing and trying to do the right things for staying healthy.

My question is this...how many people die from flu yearly? I may look it up.

so .01 of a % due from the flu or flu related viruses annually. You have 4x more chance of dying of the flu than having a building fall on you. Bout the same for drowning.
