I just might watch that. Looks like more than the average superhero story.

It MIGHT be good. Having read the graphic novel they are going to need one hell of an approach. The way it is written is very difficult to reproduce the effect. So although it is flashy, I do not have much hope for it.

On a side note t, it is not your typically super hero story, it is more of a suspense murder mystery thing, where the 'super heroes' aren't the sort you are likely thinking, but just vigilantes (no powers). It was weird for me reading it as it was also a rather intelligently written comic book, I had not encountered such before. They have some really neat scenes where one set of lines describe paralell scenes and such

My skepticism asside, this movie was exceptional, maybe even better than the dark knight.

The use of music was superb.

My grievances were Jon's voice, and Adrian Viedts build (looked abit too thin imo, however he portrayed the chracter extremely well. The changes form the book were minor, and a few pieces of what I thought were important information were overlooked, but overall very very well done. Rorshach was cast to a T at that, the most important part.

A couple of my friends grievances were it was 'a little pornographic at times' but I would hardly agree with that, mildly (maybe moderately) explicit is more how I would categorize it.

As far as gore goes, no punches were pulled, which I thought was important to portraying the mood. They made the violence slightly comic booky but that is too be expected.

you have problems with that down there? our theatres are usually pretty good, especially when teenagers cannot attend the movie, but even then they are usually fairly well behaved.

The last movie I went to (besides matinees with the family- we go on a weekday and there's about 8 people in there)- I had some guy threaten me with a beating because I told him to shut his damn cell phone off and shush.

The ushers gave him a warning and let him stay *eyeroll*

Nope- it was a ~20 year old with a group of his friends, and he got big brass balls because his friends were with him.

Let me say that I was with a couple, and the male was built like me. When said person started running his mouth at me again after the usher left, we stood up in tandem and told him to STFU.

He did some quick math in his head (8 of them, 2 of us that looked like we could play D line for the Patriots) , and he shut his mouth.

still miseed 15 minutes of the flick because of his jibbajabba.
