t, you need to remember that most of these folks are looking in from the outside. You know, the whole, until you have walked a mile in their shoes thing.

Until a person has experienced the life of a true metal-head, it is all just a matter of perception rather than true experience! LOL!

maybe Kiss, but they were more seventies.. and I never saw Kiss as a hair metal band,

and Not Ozzy, he for sure was not Hair Metal.

Poison, Cinderella, I always called this bubble gum rock.

Half of that list doesn't belong with the other half of that list.

I wonder what NeilPeartFan would say?

Wow, that list really doesn't understand what hairmetal is.

Quiet Riot could be called "Hair Plug Metal."

I'm glad they included Angel. One of the coolest hair bands ever. Punky Meadows was fun onstage. I got to see them several times in the late '70s. I have to break out my old Angel LPs tonight.

I still have their LIVE vinyl! Yeah, I was a Punky Meadows git fan too.

You may have noticed their keyboard player, who went on to
"House of Lords" and "Giuffria"....

I think Punky and the rest of 'em dropped off the face of the earth!

Punky's my homeboy though....And Zappa's song "Punky's Whips" is
a dedication.

Actually, Frank Dimino and the band were touring as recently as 2002. Here is a page of pics from a show in Baltimore, MD.

Here is the Grand Entrance music from their live show.

Here is a long lost song called Better Days from 1977. A bit mellow, but a rare Angel gem.

Because the press as of late has gotten incredibly dumbed down and only half does their research.

EDIT- fixed my tenses.

One more bit. I was wrong. They toured in 2004 as well.

Legendary '70s rockers ANGEL will be performing at the Dallas Hard Rock Caf? on Saturday, November 13. The show will be presented by "TheBone" 93.3 and Renegade Entertainment.

ANGEL skyrocketed to stardom in the mid '70s as one of the first "metal" bands on the very eclectic music scene of that decade. Powered by soaring notes and thunderous rhythms, unified by a stunning image, a spectacular stage show (rivaled only by past record company labelmates KISS), superb rock songs and arguably the best band logo-type in rock history, ANGEL secured their legacy in rock and roll with hits such as "Tower" and "Don't Leave Me Lonely" and also made a cameo appearance in the Jodi Fost movie "Foxes" with the song "Twentieth Century Foxes". ANGEL is ready to continue their legacy just recently returning from Europe performing at the Bang Your Head Festival in Germany and planning shows across the U.S. through the New Year. Other shows include November 11 at Clicks in Baton Rouge, LA and November 12 at Forgetta'boutit in Houston, TX.

Stick around Bub. They were "Hair" when they opened for a
certain Canadian power trio
when I saw 'em.
