Nice melee last night eh?

What was up with Manny and Youk?
:?
Thats easy- Manny didn't come out during the melee. Youk called him out on it and Manny took offense.

Hey y'all, I just wanted to express my
appreciation for Fenway and Boston for
allowing our brave troops returning from duty
a free seat to the home games.

That's so friggin COOL. Much love and MAD
respect to the people of Boston.

We KNOW who supports the troops by
gestures like this.

You people RAWK! :headbang:

I gotta admit, I DO have man-love for the clam chowder. LOL
Little bit o' hot sauce and some crackers and I'm in chowd heaven...

IMHO, Fenway and Camden Yards are two of the coolest ballparks out
there.

Hey, I hear those Fenway hot dogs are silly-good too. :headbang:

GO BILLS!

ESPN headline reads:

Randolph 'stunned' by firing (NY Mets manager)- that's like this headline-

"Titanic captain stunned ship sank after hitting iceberg"

Red Sox Trivia as pointed out by Bill Simmons on ESPN:

The Aaron Boone homer happened Oct. 16, 2003. The 19-8 thrashing that gave the 2004 Yankees a 3-0 lead in the ALCS happened Oct. 16. The Indians jumped to a commanding 3-1 lead in the ALCS on Oct. 16. Let's just say I wasn't that enthusiastic about Boston's chances on Oct. 16, 2008. As the comeback swung into motion Thursday, I found myself glancing at my cable box's clock and rooting for it to display 9:00 my time (midnight on the East Coast). I didn't think we would get there, but when Pena was batting in the ninth, there were only a few minutes left on the 16th. It was like watching a New Year's Eve countdown. 8:54. 8:55. 8:56. Then Pena grounded into that 4-6-3 and guaranteed that, yes, the Red Sox were getting out of Oct. 16 alive. They made it to midnight. In fact, if Game 5 were a movie, that's what I would call it: "They Made It To Midnight."

The better team won.

What a set up there.
But TB made the plays w
hen needed, we did not.

I'll say Tampa in 7.

Hear that choking sound? That's Jonathan Papelbon giving up the walk-off hit to end the season.

The Sox should not be in the post-season in any way, shape or form this year. They thought they could mail September in - guess what people? YOU CAN'T!

I just hope people up there don't go bashing the manager.

That's just crazy talk.

He got 'em 2 rings, didn't he? He's not going anywhere.
