You're spot-on Elf. I'll bet my bottom dollar that our school systems don't
even teach the Watergate Scandal to our young students and young
adults now.

A guy was cornered in a house by the police a few weeks ago, I believe he was the robbery suspect. He came out of the house with a gun in his hand and the cops put him down.

That's usually how it plays out.

No taxpayer-funded trial necessary? Sweet.

But when seconds REALLY count, it's best to have a gun of your own!

For her birthday a couple weeks ago I bought Mrs. Elf a Smith and Wesson Compact 9mm. :)

Sweet!

Happy belated b'day to Mrs. Elf - and I hope she likes her new equalizer!

Sigette bought me a Sig (no relation :-D ) "Mosquito" .22LR pistol and I LOVE IT.

My favorite that I own is a Ruger Mark IV .22LR. So much fun. :)

The Ruger 10/22 is a very versatile rifle.

Now it's so popular, they doubled the price. :x

I have the Sig Mosquito .22 pistol, and find it the best all around semi pistol I have ever had. Having tried nearly every pistol made, I am incredibly impressed at the precision. Grooved for scope and laser, more punch than any other .22 I have fired, it is too much fun!

The Ruger 10/22 rifle is what I broke my kids in on (aside from pellet). I couldn't be happier having watched them plink with such a fine weapon.

I absolutely love mine, Zep. I open-carry it on my property here in the
woods.

And yes, the Ruger 10/22 is a valuable possession. If it walks, swims, flies or
crawls, it's meat-on-the-table with a 10/22.

I have my old Glenfield 60 .22LR rifle. It's never let me down in 40 years.
