hey, have any of you seen the rocumentary called "Heavy Metal Parking Lot"?
It was filmed here (DC) in 1986, and it featured the tailgate party before the Judas Priest/Dokken show at the Capital Centre (which THEN became known as US Air Arena, THEN was torn down)....god I'm old...
Anyway, I was there and never knew it was being done....at least, to MY KNOWLEDGE heh heh...At any rate...
Have any of you seen it, and is it available for watching on the www?
I'd love to see it, and recall some of the knuckleheads I remember being there...that WAS a bumpin' tailgater....Of course, that was a tradition here, so it was just one day-in-the-life of the DC metalheads...
The best metal here these days is STILL Fugazi...They kept the attititude that Metallica sold out to...TO THIS DAY

I almost thought Priest's Sad Wings of Destiny was a concept album....you know, from "Island of Domination" to "Ripper", "Dreamer/Deceiver", etc....
I STILL put that platter on the 'table to this day...(I have the original GEM import vinyl copy since I was 17) schhhhwwwweeeeet
