Carvin-upthecompetition. :)

The first and second Carvin ads I saw in magazines. The first is from the Jan. 1973 issue of Guitar Player, the second is from the Jan. 1977 issue, both safely tucked away in my sick collection.

Very cool! I wasn't aware in 1973... it came in the late 70's I think.

There's an interview of Steve Vai where he talks about looking at those old catalogs with with the stacks of amps on the lawns...

Let's see if I can find it.

Yeah, here it is. I really enjoy this one.

NICE!

I'm watching it now on my lunch break! Thanks! \m/

Any of you guys remember seeing Craig Chaquico of Jefferson Starship
doing Carvin endorsements in the 80's? I do...

I'll see if I can find it...wait one...

Never mind. (His ads from the early 80's are already posted on
CarvinMuseum.com)

It's about 3/4 of the way down: http://www.carvinmuseum.com/guitarads.html

Well... I took it to its first gig last night. I hadn't planned on using it exclusively, but that's what happened. I only put it down to play keyboards, and couldn't wait to pick it back up again. :)
