It didn't look stupid at all. I love flying on top of the clouds like that. Did you see any other planes zip past? That's cool when they get close enough.

The opportunity to sample the local cuisine didn't really come up. Except for the purchase of some boiled peanuts from a roadside stand on the way to the beach.
