But I still need to know how to count.

Oh on a serious note.
I learned to drum on a lefty kit, so I do everything backwards (as a righty), my brother in law in law has a kit, I sat down at it and was totally perplexed by trying to undo what I learned...
I gave up after 2 minutes.
