What Rush concerts have you been to?

Post by PV »

It's fun to see what Rush shows other folks have attended. To think that some of us may have attended the same shows is kind of cool. Then you have to think, "Was that the dude/chick behind me who was singing so loud?"

Here are the shows I've been to:
Signals - 12/6/82 - Boston Garden, RIP, Boston, MA $11.50
Signals - 12/19/82 - Worcester Centrum, Worcester, MA $12.50
GUP - 10/03/84 - Worcester Centrum, Worcester, MA $13.50
GUP - 11/7/84 - Providence Civic Center, Providence, RI $11.50
PW - 12/??/85 - Providence Civic Center, Providence, RI $12.50
HYF - 12/2/87 - Worcester Centrum, Worcester, MA $17.50
In total  that I seem to have missed Presto! :(
RTB - 6/3/92 - Irvine Meadows, CA $19.75
CP - 2/5/94 - Arrowhead Pond, Anaheim, CA $23.50
CP - 2/7/94 - San Diego Sports Arena, San Diego, CA $21.50
T4E - 11/??/96 - First Union Center, Philadelphia, PA
VT - 10/27/02 - First Union Center, Philadelphia, PA $65.00

** Honorable Mention Concert **
PW - 12/13/85 (A Friday the 13th no less), Worcester Centrum, Worcester, MA $14.50

I have the unused ticket stub still in my posession. I was at college in RI and my friends were supposed to drive down from NH to pick me up and take me to the show. Well, NH got blasted with a snowstorm and all highways were closed so they couldn't get me. I didn't have my own transportation so I couldn't get to the show.

I am feeling quite disorganized, as I have no ticket stubs and no firm dates that I attended. :? I shall do my best to recollect.
Signals-- Spring (March?) 1983
Presto
Roll the Bones--June 92 (Possibly when PV was there!)
CP
T4E
VT--9/28/03 Irvine Meadows $65

I have not been to near as many as I would have liked. I also missed almost half of the Vapor Trails show! I have already been promised that we'll go to more than one when they come back out this way. :D

I was just rereading this thread looking for some info and I saw this:

Only once..

Post by DutchRush »

Believe it or not....i'm a fan since 1975, but i've only had the luck to see them once...
This happened in 1982 when they were here in my country (Netherlands) after the wrapping up of exit stage left.

Tonny.

I'm with ya on that one Tonny. Been a fan since 1981 and got to see them for the first time last tour in Kansas City, Kansas (ok, well actually the venue is in Bonner Springs, Kansas, about 20 min. outside of KC, but it's close enough...great show). Aiii, and unless something really cool happens financially, I may not get to see them this tour   ...dang, and I was really hoping to take my son to see them this time....

By the way, DutchFan...good luck in Euro 2004...Group D...that's a tough one.

Hate to tell you this, Kevin, but you weren't with your dad that day. Sorry, but the gamete that would become you wasn't formed yet. :(

...course, if your mom went, that would count, since all ovaries are present at birth... Ahh, curse the short life of the sperm cell....

This is true.

I like thinking about this kind of stuff, not that it matters.

The way I see it is, when I took H to see gigs while pregnant with her, in a way I oculd have been taking my gandkids to the gigs too!

Hrm, well, we can shine a quack-doctor's scientific light onto this subject. Due to the intrinsic nature of Rush's performance it will stay with you forever and be passed onto your children.

Vapor Trails - 16 Oct 2002; Blue Cross Arena, Rochester, NY
